Nigerian Arrested For Sexual Abuse In The UK

19-Year-Old Nigerian Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison for Recording Child S+xual Ab¥se Videos for Paed%philes in UK

Gift Ayoola, 19, has been sentenced to four years in prison in the United Kingdom for encouraging children to engage in s+xual activity online, recording the footage and selling it to paed%philes.

Ayoola, who moved to the UK from Nigeria after losing his mother at six, was paid £5,000 by one paed%phile and was found with hundreds of indecent images of children.

At Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, the court heard that Ayoola contacted a 12-year-old girl online and instructed her to expose herself and watch him mast¥rbate. He also communicated with girls aged 11 to 13 and a child aged between two and four.

He was first arrested in January 2025, with police finding 455 Category A, 401 Category B and 389 Category C child ab¥se images on his devices. He was also part of Telegram and WhatsApp groups used to distribute such material.

Paedophiles requested to buy images and videos from him, with 877 transactions made through PayPal. He was arrested again on March 5, 2026, and found with further images involving children as young as four.

Ayoola pleaded guilty to making and distributing indecent images of children, possessing extreme porn%graphy, and causing or inciting children to engage in s+xual activity.

Judge Vanessa Francis described the offences as a “grievous form of s+xual ab¥se” and said Ayoola exploited the trust and vulnerability of children.

He was placed under s+x offender notification requirements indefinitely and given a S+xual Harm Prevention Order for 10 years.
