Ojy: I know you are in the opposition, but I will want you to name one policy of President Bola Tinubu that you will keep if you are elected as President of Nigeria.
Obi: He has floated the naira. I am not going to defend it but I will put productivity.to make it more valuable to the people.
Ojy: Mr Peter Obi, do you believe in turn-by-turn Presidency?
Obi: Our elections should not be driven by tribe or religion. Today, by qualifications.... I am qualified to be President of Nigeria. I have the competence. I have gone round the world studying what it takes to become the President of Nigeria and I know what I can do to turn around this country in the right direction. It can not all be solved but you can look at our qualification and our training, it might be what you call short-term or whatever you can call it. But if you come to training today,, I have been to the best schools in the world - from Harvard to Oxford, from Cambridge to Columbia, I have been everywhere and every certificate I have, I can show you it's the way it is. If you find anyone wrong,I withdraw from the race.
Can you believe that nobody born after 1960 has been President of Nigeria? This is 66 years of independence - no other country of the world has it happened to. And they tell you people, you are leaders of tomorrow when people don't want to ......noooooo. Let's get moving. I can change this country and people will see it and they will feel it. We want a President that can move around and see and meet the ordinary people of Nigeria.
There is no community of the 180 in Anambra I didn't physically visit as Governor. I might not do that as President of Nigeria but I can tell you I will visit every state at least once a year, including our universities.
