 An American woman living in Nigeria has sparked reactions after claiming that Nigeria is generally safe outside the northern states, which she said are affected by terrorism and insecurity.

She also raised concerns about emergency services in Enugu, claiming there is no 911 service or readily available ambulance in the area where she lives.

“There’s no 911 service. There’s no ambulance. In fact, where I am, the ambulance is sent here when you die.”
