Tinubu's earlier statement to the Catholic Bishops:
I inherited the assets and liability of my predecessor, the quality of life is improving, the Government has stabilised and there is prosperity on the horizon. Yes, there was hunger before I was born and I have no control of the population development of Nigeria. That is why you have memberships in your various faiths and churches to give hope to people and give commitment to humanity.
