Hailey Bieber's sister, Alaia Baldwin Aronow, will not be thrown behind bars as part of her assault and battery criminal case for allegedly throwing tampons at bar employees ... as long as she keeps her nose clean ... TMZ has learned.
New legal docs obtained by TMZ show prosecutors offered to put Alaia in a pre-trial diversion program where she will have to complete a series of classes, fines, and other requirements ... in exchange for not having to serve jail time.
Alaia accepted the offer and paid the fee for the program.
Diversion programs are typically offered to first-time or low-level offenders with limited criminal history.
Alaia was arrested back in 2024 after a wild brawl at a bar in Savannah, Georgia.
The bar owner told cops that Hailey's sister caused a disturbance inside the venue and attacked staff members.
As TMZ first reported, Alaia allegedly went into the staff bathroom and refused to come out ... despite being told she had to use the customer bathroom.
Three employees claimed Alaia got physical with them ... with one claiming Alaia pulled her hair out and another claiming he was kicked in the groin.
MARCH 2024Another employee said they asked Alaia to exit the bathroom ... which led to Alaia allegedly throwing a used tampon at her.
Alaia was arrested on charges of simple assault, simple battery, and trespassing.
