Former Disney child star Raquel Lee Bolleau says landing a role in "The Poof Point" turned into a nightmare ... claiming she was raped and sexually assaulted by an adult employee when she was just 14.
In a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Raquel claims Disney failed to protect her -- and instead repeatedly put her in close contact with the man she says abused her.
She says Disney staffers told her to "bond" with the unnamed employee and spend time with him during filming in Utah in 2001 -- though her lawsuit targets Disney, not the individual staffers.
According to the suit, the man gave Raquel alcohol in his hotel room ... and later demanded she return alone after she had become heavily intoxicated -- and she claims that's when he raped and sexually assaulted her.
She says the abuse continued during production ... crew members allegedly saw her showing up sick, vomiting, and smelling like alcohol -- yet no one stepped in.
Raquel also alleges the man sexually assaulted her on a flight back to California ... claiming Disney booked him in first class while she was seated there without her guardian.
She says the fallout quickly showed on set ... with her behavior and performance changing dramatically.
Instead of protecting her, Raquel claims Disney executives blamed her ... with one allegedly calling her "out of control" and another telling her mother she had "a demon inside her."
Raquel says the experience wrecked her acting career and caused decades of emotional and psychological harm.
She's suing Disney for negligence, claiming the company failed to properly hire and supervise its employees ... and she wants unspecified damages.
