Adeleke’s Re-election: Will Tinubu Continue Withholding Osun LGA Funds?

For over two years and counting, Tinubu has withheld funds meant for Osun’s local governments, denying the councils the resources they need to function and, in effect, crippling local government administration across the state.

These, among other wicked and undemocratic measures designed to frustrate  Governor Adeleke, did not stop the good people of Osun from standing their ground. They rejected the pressure and re-elected Adeleke for a second term.

Now that the people have spoken, the question is simple: Will Tinubu finally release the LGA funds, or will the withholding continue as another form of political punishment against the people of Osun?
