A German entrepreneur coach who moved from Germany to Lagos has gone viral after sharing her candid and humorous reaction to life in Nigeria's commercial capital.
In a video posted on social media, the woman said Lagos has "broken" her German brain because of the city's striking contrasts, which she finds difficult to understand.
According to her, she is often surprised to see chickens roaming freely alongside cows and goats, giving parts of the city the feel of a small village. Yet, she said the same city is home to massive bridges, brightly lit streets at night, and vibrant nightlife featuring upscale clubs with swimming pools.
She described Lagos as a place that somehow feels like "the smallest village" she has ever visited while also feeling like "the biggest city" she has ever experienced.
The woman said the unique mix of traditional and modern lifestyles has left her fascinated and confused at the same time, adding that she still cannot fully make sense of the city.
