Iranian state news wires announced on Wednesday, as the country already begins pursuing business deals with Russia and rebuilding its fleet of aircraft.
Iran's Red Crescent Society has signed a contract to purchase 20 new helicopters equipped with advanced aviation navigation systems and night-vision cameras, Iran's semi-official ISNA reported on Wednesday.
The agreement was signed between the head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society and the chief executive of Russian helicopter manufacturer Russian Helicopters, the report said.
