Sahabi Liman allegedly cheats on the daughter of the Minister of Defence weeks after their lavish wedding
Social media has been thrown into a frenzy following allegations that Sahabi Liman, husband of Faridah Bello Matawalle, was involved in an alleged infidelity scandal just weeks after their high-profile wedding.
Faridah is the daughter of Bello Matawalle, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Defence and former Governor of Zamfara State. Her wedding to Liman on February 6, 2026, held at the Central Mosque in Abuja, attracted widespread attention as part of a grand multi-wedding ceremony hosted by her father.
According to circulating reports, the controversy began after a woman identified as Mariam allegedly shared content on social media suggesting an ongoing relationship with Liman. The claims, which remain unverified, have fueled speculation online about the state of the marriage.
Further allegations suggest that Mariam was previously close to both parties, reportedly having a past relationship with Liman. Claims also surfaced that the relationship may have continued discreetly even after his marriage.
However, Faridah Bello Matawale decided to log into the phone of her husband, Sahabi Liman, only to find him cheating on her with her best friend Mariam inside her matrimonial restroom.
