NSCDC Deploys 1,100 Officers For Easter Security In Bauchi -

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 1,100 personnel across Bauchi State to maintain security and protect lives and property during the Easter celebrations.

The deployment, announced on Saturday by the state command, covers all 20 local government areas to ensure that worshippers and residents celebrate the holiday in peace.


According to the command’s spokesperson, Saminu Yusuf, the large-scale security operation was approved by the Bauchi State Commandant, Oloyede Nelson Oyerinde, as part of preparations for the Easter festivities.


The personnel include uniformed officers assigned to visible patrol duties as well as plain-clothed operatives tasked with covert surveillance across strategic locations.
