Tension has gripped residents of Oke Daaba in the Oro-Ago community of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State after suspected bandits reportedly invaded the area on Sunday night.
A source who spoke to SaharaReporters disclosed that the armed men stormed the community late in the evening, causing panic among villagers who fled for safety as gunshots were reportedly heard in different parts of the settlement.

uld not be immediately confirmed.The source said residents were still trying to account for family members and neighbours amid fear and confusion.
Local sources described the incident as terrifying, noting that the attack has further heightened concerns over rising insecurity in parts of Kwara State and surrounding communities.
“As reported tonight, kidnappers stormed Oke Daaba, Oro-Ago this night. We are afraid and still waiting to know those taken,” the source lamented.
Residents have called on government and security agencies to urgently intervene, intensify patrols, and ensure the safety of lives and property in the area.
The latest attack adds to growing fears among rural communities facing threats from armed groups suspected to be bandits operating across parts of the Kwara South region.
