For the Chief of Staff - Rivers Government House, you are working under me. In this position, you are my personal aide. It's not a position that as you are leaving here now, you start holding meetings, calling people without my permission. Let me sound it here very clear, your activity is to make sure administratively, image-making, liaising with whomever is coming for any official assignment here is handled very well.
If you involve yourself with nocturnal meetings and all those, I will sack you. I am very serious! What is important to me as at today is peace, progress and prosperity of the state.
It is important to me. I am not going to compromise anything for it.I believe that those of you who have worked with me very closely will understand that I do not say what I will not do. Maybe before, the few things that have gone wrong may have been because I was not very very observant, I will not say careless but just let everything go. This time around, I will not let anything go, I will be watching everyone. Any step that will bring any form of embarrassment to this Government or to my person, I assure you willeet adequate punishment.
