Jim Okolo, Other Personalities Join In Grand Opening of Oma Life Rescue Foundation in Abuja
A renowned United Nations accredited international election observer and a very influential player in the nation’s oil and gas industry as the MD/CEO of Jimez Petroleum Resources Ltd, Amb (Dr) Jim Okolo Chimezie has joined other selected personalities in the official unveiling of the Abuja office of a leading non-governmental organisation in the country, Oma Life Rescue Foundation (OLIRF) which focuses on poverty alleviation, child care, education support, and emergency humanitarian relief.
Located at suit B11, Melita Plaza, Garki Area 11 Abuja, the unveiling took place at a colourful ceremony which also had in attendance humanitarian campaigners, leaders of civil society organizations and top government officials. The new office adds to existing operation bases located in Kaduna and Makurdi.
Speaking at the event, Amb. Okolo who was the Special Guest and led the official ribbon-cutting, lauded the organisation for landmark achievements it has over the years recorded in impacting numerous lives, reviving their hopes and dreams and offering them opportunity to contribute to nation-building while assuring of global partnerships.
In her remarks, the founder of Oma Life Rescue Foundation, Amb. (Dr.) Omanibe Blessing Ameh-Sanusi, noted that the opening of the Abuja mega office repositions the organization to reaching more under-privileged citizens.
While noting the Foundation's commitment to improving lives through capacity building, mindset development, and sustainable social interventions across Nigeria, she said ongoing projects targeted at improved access to education, healthcare support, and emergency aid for thousands of beneficiaries nationwide will even grow bigger with the ongoing expansion.
“This Abuja office is more than just a physical structure; it is a symbol of renewed hope for the vulnerable and a strategic hub for scaling our humanitarian interventions across Nigeria,” Amb. (Dr.) Omanibe Blessing Ameh-Sanusi said.
She added, “Our mission has always been to restore dignity, empower lives and create sustainable pathways out of poverty. With this expansion, we are better positioned to deepen our impact, collaborate with stakeholders, and reach thousands more children, women and families who urgently need support.”
Oma Life Rescue Foundation has, over the years, delivered impactful programmes targeted at the most vulnerable populations, including orphans, widows, persons with disabilities, and underserved communities.
It had donated life-changing items to various communities in the past, including motorcycles, tricycles popularly called keke, sewing machines, and numerous other empowerment kits.
The private opening had the distinguished presence of one of the patrons of the NGO and husband of the founder, Alhaji Dr Teslim Sanusi Jejeola, CEO Jejeola Properties Nig Ltd who has been a strong supporter and pillar of the activities of the Oma Life Rescue Foundation.
