Presidential Helicopter Rescues Flood Victims In Mozambique (

A swift rescue effort by the Mozambican government saw a presidential helicopter evacuate flood victims stranded on top of a submerged car in Manica Province, one of the areas worst hit by severe flooding.

In the video, the helicopter pilot carefully hovered over fast-moving floodwaters, stabilizing the aircraft directly above the stranded victims. Rescue personnel were then seen bringing the victims into the chopper one after the other, while the car beneath them re

mained almost completely underwater.

Manica Province has been battered by days of heavy rainfall, causing rivers to overflow, roads to disappear, and vehicles to become trapped by rising floodwaters. With escape routes cut off, some residents were forced to climb onto cars and other elevated surfaces to avoid being swept away.

The deployment of the presidential chopper highlights the scale of the flooding emergency and the government’s rapid response to protect lives. Rescue operations continue across affected regions as floodwaters displace families, damage infrastructure, and disrupt daily activities.
