A young single lady has taken to social media to express her desire for a husband. In the video, she declared that she is single and searching, asking those who are interested to contact her.
However, she went on to release an unusual list of criteria detailing what she is looking for.
She said, "I am going to be telling you about myself, so if you feel I am somebody you might want to roll with, hit me up!"
Her number one criterion is that she does not want kids, as she does not want to get pregnant and will not be having children for any man.
Secondly, she stated that she will not be accepting bride price. According to her, the man will not be paying any bride price because she is not going to have a traditional wedding. She explained that they would only be entering into a legal marriage contract by going to court to sign, with witnesses present on that day. No extra rites will be involved, and the man will not be required to pay anything.
She also said they would celebrate together with friends and family as a team. She went further to say that the man will not be required to pay anything or buy anything for her.
Thirdly, she said, "I don't cook, I don't clean. I am not going to be your cook, I am not going to be your cleaner. You are going to cook your food, and I will cook my food."
She explained further that if she is generous enough while cooking her own food, she may include the man. Likewise, if the man is cooking and kindly asks if she wants some, she would appreciate it. However, if she does not want any, the man can simply go on and do his thing.
Fourthly, she said, "I am not submissive. I am not going to submit to you. You are not my head, you are not my leader, we are equal. We are going to be partners in this marriage. I don't need you to be my provider or my protector. I can provide for myself, and I can protect myself. But if out of the magnanimity of your heart you decide to gift me, maybe in cash or gift me flowers and all of that, it is most appreciated and welcomed. It's not your responsibility to provide for me, and I am not going to submit to you."
She further added that they would only be economic partners and companions, stating that the aim of the marriage is companionship. According to her, they would travel together, do beautiful things together, make money together, buy properties together, buy land together, build houses together, and go on vacations together, simply being happy together.
She also emphasized that both partners must support each other’s dreams and goals. She said she would support the man’s vision as much as possible, just as she expects the same support in return. No one, she explained, would be expected to give up their dreams, passions, or aspirations for the other.
She also stated that the man must be willing to relocate to Japan to join her, as she currently lives there. According to her, any man interested in marrying her must be willing to move to Japan.
She said, "Also, I am not going to change my name to your name. I am going to keep my surname; you keep yours. I am not going to change my surname to bear your name."
Lastly, she said the man must be cool, kind, intelligent, mentally intelligent, emotionally intelligent, and mature. He must also have self-worth and security, as those are the qualities she could think of for now.
She then said, "I am just going to show you myself in full so that you see what I look like."
She proceeded to stand in front of the camera, showed herself fully, and did a 360-degree turn.
"This is what I look like, yeah. If you're interested, hit me up," she said, before turning off the camera.
The video has attracted a lot of mixed reactions across social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly known as Twitter) since it surfaced online. Many users have said she is not ready to settle down, citing her unusual criteria for marriage.
