AAU Students Imprisoned After Violent Protests

 They are alleged to have conducted a protest against the death of a kidnapped student. That protest was hijacked by unscrupulous elements which led to widespread looting of shops. Then the police went into the school hostels to pick up "suspects". Not based on evidence, imho.

Over 52 students of Ekpoma AAU university who protested over the Incessant K!dnappings in Edo state were all Tracked down to their Hostels in the middle of the night and arrested for protesting and they were all paraded today in court and all remanded in Prison😭💔💔 pic.twitter.com/VRLeTDNiN9
