Why Am I Going After Omokri? - Mike Arnold Catalogues His Many Sins

There are a number of reasons and each one significant.

-1). First, he truly is a pathological, shape-shifting, self-serving liar. Then again, a lot of people are especially in the Nigerian government. But his dramatic flip-flop from shouting about the Nigerian Christian genocide to now calling it a hoax is unconscionable.

If his efforts succeed, it will mean the death and continued displacement of countless innocent human beings—men, women, and children. I believe that warrants full and vigorous opposition and exposure.

-2). He put me in a room in close quarters with a man he himself rightly called a terrorist not long ago. Isa Pantami is a terrorist imam. Of that, there is no doubt. Seriously, think about that. I’d rather be locked in a closet with a black mamba. At least the snake doesn’t smile and lie about its true nature.

-3). He also forced me into a position where, by speaking the truth, my family and I are now at serious risk because of his sleazy manipulations. And I’m not talking about trolls or bogus online threats from overzealous supporters of political opponents. I’m talking about senior officials in my own government who have advised me to harden my security.

We’ve lived peacefully in our country home for years—but now, because I’ve been thrust into a high-profile position opposing genocidal jihadi maniacs, that peace is gone. My life will never be the same. That is the cost of Omokri’s deception.

-4). Then there’s the indecency of it all. He pushed me into two dishonest photo ops, then a live TV interview, directly after 30 hours of travel no rest, no food, not even a bathroom break or a sip of water. That’s not just disrespectful—it’s dehumanizing. I am nobody’s pawn.

-5). Worse, he projected his own lack of integrity onto me by assuming I would join him in denying genocide when exposing it was the very basis of our relationship. That assumption is insulting beyond words. Add to that all the lies he told me, and about me—there’s no ambiguity left.

-6). And then the final blow: he slandered me in the most despicable way possible. After I risked my life to speak the truth in Abuja, he planted stories in four of Nigeria’s top publications claiming I had “debunked” the genocide “hoax.” That is satanic. Thankfully, every one of those outlets has since retracted or corrected the story.

Still, he remains a slick and articulate “influencer.” If dismantling his fraudulently built platform helps undermine this regime’s genocidal narrative, I consider it a noble cause.

Reno only wishes he could rise to the level of being the Joseph Goebbels of the Nigerian Holocaust. But his blinding pride and blithering incompetence keep him from such historical notoriety.

Now let me be clear: I’ve been insulted, lied about, slandered, threatened, misjudged, and manipulated by people with far more power and competence than him. I’ve never gone after them like this.

So Why Now? Because the Lord has instructed me to do so. He is possessed by the same demonic spirit—Python—that possessed Goebbels. This is spiritual warfare in the age of social media. And I will not stop until He tells me to stop.

It’s been a bonus that Nigerians around the world have contacted me to thank me. They’ve told me my speaking out has given them hope, and inspired them to speak up as well. I thank God for that. (Oh, and I’m having great fun, too! That’s a bonus! 🙂)
