 Nigerian Music Producer, JaySynths Gets Grammy Nomination, Produces Another Hit Song for Teni

Nigerian ace record producer and sound engineer, Chisom Obinna Onyeke, popularly known as Jaysynths has recorded another milestone in the world of music following his nomination for 2026 Grammy Award.


He was nominated along notable producers from across the globe, including John Turner, Duran Duran, Mike Chapman, Peter Frampton, and Geoffrey Parsons among other renowned producers.


This is seen as a breakthrough in his music career, coming just few months after he was widely celebrated for the plethora of hit songs he produced produced for some Nigerian and foreign artistes.


Jaysynths, who has long been celebrated for his creativity and innovation, is receiving congratulations from critical stakeholders in the music industry for the Grammy nomination, which arrests to the greater height he has attained in the industry.


In addition to the Grammy, he has also produced a fresh hit track for Teni which features one of the biggest artistes in the world of hip hop and a US national, Gunna.


This is not the first time JaySynths is making a hit song for Teni. Her 2018 smash hit Case is also to Jaysynths' credit, who has consistently proven to be one of the most sought-after producers in Africa’s music industry.


His role in the production of D’Banj’s recent track, Yours Truly, has been described as a masterstroke that rekindles the energy of the veteran singer’s global appeal.


Similarly, his touch on Flavour’s chart-rising hit, Big Baller, is earning widespread praise for the way it blends Afrobeat rhythms with a distinctly modern groove.


Not stopping there, Jaysynths once again showcased his versatility with the production of Psalm 23 on DJ Spinall’s newly released album, Eko Groove.


The track has been widely hailed for its spiritual depth and refreshing sound, reinforcing Spinall’s reputation for curating high-calibre collaborations and giving credit to Jaysynths’ unmatched studio genius.
