 King Fajag Secures Resounding Second Term As President of ABPFEON

The President Association of the Beauty Pageants and Fashion Exhibition Organizers of Nigeria (ABPFEON), Olufunsho Alexander Ajagbonna, popularly known as King Fajag has been re-elected for another term of three years.


He was unanimously re-elected in Benin at the annual conference of the Association which took place in Edo State.


He has been since inaugurated along with other exco members in Benin City, Edo State.


King Fajag while speaking at the inauguration expressed profound gratitude to ABPFEON members for their confidence in him by re-electing him for a second term in office.


While urging the government to commit more resources to beauty, fashion and tourism industry as a means of generating the much needed employment, he assured members of ABPFEON that he would consolidate on the achievements of his first term.


Similarly, Debby Benson the newly elected vice president promised to use her years of experience in the industry to add value to the Association.


Also, Chidi Roland the new national treasurer said it is an honour to contribute his quota in taking the Association to new heights.


Members expressed confidence that the King Fajag-led exco will further bring transformation to the association and more development in the beauty and fashion ecosystem.


Since assuming office, King Fajag who is also the convener of the African Iconic Women Recognition Awards (AIWRA) and the Democracy Heroes Award has been credited with giving the pageant industry a new lease of life.


Under his leadership, cases of alleged harassment and exploitation of beauty queens have significantly declined, while many pageant winners have received their star prizes as promised by organisers.


Stakeholders noted that his administration has promoted transparency, accountability, and empowerment, restoring public confidence in the beauty pageant ecosystem.
