The Cross River State Indigenes Development Association (CRIDA) in Abuja has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the reinstatement and promotion of their daughter, Mrs Marilyn Ogar of the Department of State Services.
This recognition follows the President’s decision to reinstate and promote Mrs. Marilyn Ogar, former Spokesperson of the Department of State Services (DSS), and his intervention in clearing the name of Hon. Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen, former Chief Justice of Nigeria.
CRIDA’s President, Chief Sankara Dickson Unung, in a statement on Wednesday, praised the President’s actions, stating that he has demonstrated a powerful commitment to justice , fairness, and reward for merit.
“Mrs. Ogar served the nation with integrity, courage, and professionalism, and her reinstatement is a triumph of truth and faith,” Chief Unung said.
The association also applauded President Tinubu’s promotion of Lt. Gen. Emmanuel Akomaye Parker Undiandeye as Chief of Defence Intelligence, recognizing his exceptional service and leadership in national security.
CRIDA expressed gratitude to the Director-General of the DSS, Mr. Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi, for facilitating Mrs. Ogar’s reinstatement and congratulated her on her steadfast faith and resilience.
“We stand solidly behind President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. We see in his leadership a new dawn of justice, merit, and inclusion for all Nigerians.” Chief Unung affirmed.
