Nigerian singer, Okafor Uchenna Victor, popularly known as Mr Real, has opened up about his bitter experience working with veteran entertainer D’banj, accusing him of exploitation and unfulfilled promises. reports,
In a recent interview, Mr Real expressed deep disappointment, alleging that despite working closely with D’banj for two years, his only financial benefit amounted to just $500.
Mr Real Speaks on Ambassadorial Deal With CREAM Brand
Mr Real revealed that during his time with the Koko Master, he was positioned as an ambassador for D’banj’s CREAM brand, but he claims he never received any benefits from the role.
He also recalled an incident where D’banj was allegedly gifted a car to present to him. Instead of handing it over, the vehicle was reportedly kept, leaving Mr Real stranded despite not owning a car at the time.
“D’banj ripped me. No be say allegedly, he did. You can’t be with a man for two years and the only thing you gain is $500. What kind of wickedness and selfishness is that?” he lamented.
History of Unpaid Debts and Broken Promises
This isn’t the first time Mr Real has publicly accused D’banj of financial misconduct. In 2023, the singer called out the veteran star over alleged debts and unfulfilled financial promises.
He particularly pointed to their 2018 collaboration, Issa Banger, insisting that he never received his rightful share from the project’s proceeds.
