A fresh wave of missile attacks launched by Iran struck multiple sites across Israel on Sunday night, escalating an already volatile conflict in the Middle East. According to reports from Agence France-Presse (AFP), the Israeli military confirmed that several areas were targeted in the latest barrage.

 

“Homefront Command Search and Rescue teams have been dispatched to multiple impacted locations in Israel following the latest missile strike from Iran,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement issued shortly after advising the public that it was safe to leave bomb shelters.

 

Emergency services have been stretched across the country, particularly along the Mediterranean coast, where Israeli fire services reported a "direct hit" on a building. Teams are currently working to assess structural damage and rescue any potential victims trapped beneath rubble.

 

 

Israel’s national emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, confirmed that at least seven people were injured in the strikes. Among the wounded is a 72-year-old woman who sustained moderate injuries.

 

This attack marks the latest development in a rapidly intensifying conflict between Israel and Iran, which has seen cross-border exchanges of fire and threats in recent weeks. Tensions have spiked following earlier Israeli strikes on Iranian-linked targets in Syria and suspected Iranian proxies operating in the region.
