Hailey Bieber has sold her skincare brand, Rhode, to E.l.f. Beauty in a blockbuster deal worth up to $1 billion

The agreement includes $600 million in cash, $200 million in E.l.f. stock, and an additional $200 million contingent on the brand’s performance over the next three years.
Despite the sale, Hailey will remain closely involved with the company, serving as Chief Creative Officer and Head of Innovation, while also taking on a strategic advisory role at E.l.f.
Hailey co-founded Rhode in 2022, and the brand quickly gained popularity with standout products like the Peptide Lip Treatment and Glazing Fluid. In the 12 months leading up to March 2025, Rhode generated $212 million in net sales.
The deal is expected to close later in 2025, pending regulatory and shareholder approval.
