Massimiliano Allegri has been confirmed as the new head coach of AC Milan

The club announced his appointment on May 29, 2025, following the signing of a three-year contract reportedly worth €5 million per season, with an additional €2 million in potential bonuses. Allegri is set to officially take charge starting September 1, 2025, succeeding Sérgio Conceição.
This marks Allegri’s return to Milan after more than a decade; he previously managed the club from 2010 to 2014, leading them to a Serie A title in the 2010–11 season.
His hiring comes amid a period of instability at the club, which saw a mid-season coaching change and a disappointing eighth-place finish in the 2024–25 Serie A campaign.
AC Milan’s decision to bring Allegri back reflects their ambition to rebuild and regain their status as a top contender in both Italian and European football.
