The Rift Between Mudi Markaz Sheikh Muhammed Habibullah Adam El Ilory and mufti Ilorin Suleiman Farouk Onikijipa

In the Ramadan Lecture of 22nd March 2025 Sheik Habeeb Adam El Ilory Revealed what happened to him in the year 2022, when he fell sick for some period. This has been bringing much discussion among the Muslim scholars and community in Nigeria who wish to know the actual cause of his illness.

The rift between Mudir l Markaz and Mufty Diyar should be intervened to by the high chiefs of Ilorin Emirate before it get to worse more than this.

The fire of the rift that has been happening few years back when Mudir l Markaz recovered from his ailment is now burning wider, and as at now about to burn and demolish a complete standard erection, and for this, the necessary authorities should come in between them and put a stop to all these menace.

As for me, i considered all these irrelevant and baseless trolling between the duo as uncalled for. The Ilorin Emirate is developing to becoming a mega city that encompassed several intellects both in Islamic and Western knowledge, why this sudden attack on each other's personalities?

To the Mudir l Markaz and Mufty Diyar

I hope they both know how of important their siege is in Ilorin Emirate, and how they must strive to preserve the image of Ilorin from being dented by the enemy of progress.

I hope it's high time that they stop listening or dancing to the tune of bad omen among their followers– those that are fueling the burning fire out of attaining cheap popularity and recognition.

And i hope the followers of the both Sheikh know that the Markaz will continue to thrive higher and the Mudir will continue to remain hale and hearty as well the Mufty will continue to remain blessed and long may he live on his throne.

Lastly, according to one of our popular uncle, Abdulganiy Saad who said “It's high time the Akãbir (Elders) in Ilorin Emirate call the both Mudir and Mufty to order for their generation not to destroy us before they leave us”, which i believed it's important the necessary authorities in Ilorin Emirate take note of this call.

I'm a Markazy and an ardent follower of Mudir l Markaz but i derived no joy or excitement in this ongoing trolling which i described as uncalled for.
