The Lagos State Head of Service has announced the sudden demise of Abdulrahman Lekki, Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Scholarship Board
Abdulrahman Lekki passed away on October 30, 2024, after a brief illness.
The Head of Service released a statement expressing condolences and announcing the news:
With total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, the Head of Service announces the sudden demise of Mr. Abdulrahman Lekki, Executive Secretary, Lagos State Scholarship Board, which occurred in the early hours of today, October 30, 2024, after a brief illness. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later time.
Lekki’s leadership at the Scholarship Board facilitated financial support for numerous students across Lagos State. His contributions to education and the state’s development will be remembered.
