Nicki Minaj, a famous rapper, might start making more pop music.
She got this idea after seeing how much fans liked her pop song “Starships” at a recent concert in Vienna, Austria.
After the show, she said, “Vienna, Austria, you guys were so amazing. When ‘Starships’ started playing, that’s when I knew the kind of crowd they were. Because you should’ve seen, they were doing circles in the crowd and just having their own moment. It made me feel like, ‘Oh my gosh, maybe I should make a couple more pop songs.'”
Nicki Minaj is known as one of the best female rappers ever. But now she’s thinking about changing her style a bit.
This isn’t unusual in the rap world. Other big-name rappers like Drake, J.Cole, and Kendrick Lamar have also started using more pop elements in their music recently.
