Soludo Transforms 18 Years Of Dumpsite To A Waterfountain In Ochanja

THE OCHANJA FACELIFT

On April 2, 2022 governor Soludo Made a visit to Ochaja, not only did he notice a collapsed town but a place that was literally unplanned for 18 years and used as a refuse dump by other similar unplanned neighboring towns.

The story of Ochanja Roundabout, a known site for refuse dump, is magical.

At this same spot a few months ago, Governor Soludo stood on a heap of trash measuring over 25 feet in height.

Today, this exact spot is undergoing a serious transformation, and a water fountain is springing forth from it.

This is #24MonthsOfSoludo without borrowing "shi-shi" and a reminder t governance is not rocket science.

The last time I was driving down to the terrifying Ochanja roundabout (turned to refuse dump) from Niger Street I was greatly amazed at what Urban Renewal and Regeneration has done.

During the campaign in 2021 we couldn’t access the road because it was totally blocked. Immediately after the handover on March 17th 2022, when Mr Governor was going about telling Ndi Anambra that “Anambra Ga Adiriri Ocha” the place was totally messed up with all the refuse at Fegge environs being dumped there.

Fast forward to some weeks back during the commissioning of Port Harcourt Street and Niger Street, the once irritating Ochanja Roundabout is already wearing a new look.

The message is simple! Making Anambra an enviable habitat can only be difficult to achieve but not impossible and with the determination of Charlie Nwa Mgbafor our Governor we can have a new Anambra!

He promised us a smart, clean, secured, prosperous and livable Anambra and bit by bit! Even if our past governors have failed, we can trust our amiable Governor.

Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo has continued to prove that he is not the type of politician that use unattainable promises to win elections.
