Akwa Ibom governor, Umo Eno, recognised Nigerian chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, during his speech at the swearing-in ceremony at the Godswill International Stadium, Uyo.
He said,“Hilda, wherever you are, I recognise you, Guinness world record holder for the longest cooking hour by an individual.”
Eno as well as Senator Akon Eyankenyi were sworn in as the governor and deputy governor of Akwa Ibom State, respectively, by the State Chief judge, Justice Ekaette Obot on Monday.
Hilda Baci broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual with a 100-hour record time.
