Manchester United and Portugal superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo wants to keep playing for Portugal till the 2026 World Cup when he'll be aged 41.

Ronaldo has already had a stellar international career with Portugal, winning Euro 2016, and is the all-time leading international scorer with Portugal.

A new report by SunSport claims he is keen to play in the 2026 tournament, being hosted in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Ronaldo and rival Lionel Messi are set to play in their fifth World Cup in Qatar next year.

They will join German legend Lothar Matthaus and Mexican pair, Rafael Marquez and Antonio Carbajal, who did the same.

If Ronaldo achieves the feat of playing in the 2026 world cup, it will add to a long list of records the former Juventus and Real Madrid superstar has broken.
