Denzel Washington crashes wedding photoshoot in New York City

Denzel Washington created a lasting memory for one New York City couple this week when the Oscar winner crashed their wedding photoshoot in Central Park.

The 66-year-old “Training Day” star photobombed the unsuspecting pair near the park’s Bow Bridge, during his down time while shooting an upcoming film, “Journal for Jordan,” on Thursday.

The couple has been identified as Emily and Sami Saifan, both of whom work in finance. The blond bride wore a high-slit, satin gown and gold heels while her new hubby wore a classic tux and white bowtie as they greeted the black-clad and mask-wearing Washington.

The actor could possibly provide the couple with a few matrimonial tips.

Washington’s own marriage has been going strong for 37 years. He said “I do” to wife Pauletta in 1983. The couple share four children, the eldest of whom, John David Washington, is starring in a 2021 Netflix release, “Malcolm and Marie,” opposite Zendaya.

“There is no secret to the perfect marriage. I have been married 27 years to Pauletta,” Washington told the Guardian back in 2010. “Everybody has their ups and downs; we’ve had ours. It’s hard work, you know. But we made a commitment. A spiritual foundation helps everything — marriage, work, peace of mind.”

In 2018, the star continued to gush over his wife to People while claiming he knows exactly how to keep a woman happy.

“I do what I’m told. I keep my mouth shut!” he jokingly told the publication. When asked what keeps them on track after 35-plus years of marriage, he claimed, “There’s too many things!”

“What pops into my head: security, food, a beautiful home,” he said. “The difference between a house and a home, it’s a big difference. You can buy a house, but that doesn’t make it a home — and not to say a man can’t make a home a home, but my wife has made our house a home, and raised these beautiful kids and protected them and sacrificed for them, she did the heavy lifting.”
