Jay Z And Pink Confirmed To Headline V Festival 2017 After Lineup Leaked Early On Twitter

Jay Z and Pink have been confirmed as this year’s V Festival 2017 headliners, after the lineup was leaked early in an accidental tweet from Ticketmaster.

Organisers of the annual music extravaganza announced the lineup on Monday morning, after the now-deleted tweet appeared on the ticket selling website’s official Twitter account on Sunday.

Bosses at the star-studded festival had hoped to keep the big lineup under wraps until the official announcement at 8.15am on Monday.

It's an incredible lineup for 2017.

The superstar pair, who will headline across two different nights, are joining an stellar lineup that already boasts Ellie Goulding, Jason Derulo, Stormzy and Clean Bandit.

It’s Jay Z’s first time headlining V Festival but he’ll be able to ask wife Beyonce for advice, as she was the star performer at the 2013 event.

He also previously headlined Glastonbury Festival, so he's no novice when it comes to British summer festivals.

Pink, meanwhile, returns to the festival ten years after her debut appearance back in 2007. Organisers have promised her set will be one to remember, hinting at an elaborate stage production and choreography.

Other confirmed acts include Craig David, Rudimental, Sean Paul, Pete Tong, Jess Glynne, Madness, Dizzee Rascal, George Ezra, James Arthur and The Vamps.
