The Lagos State House of Assembly has finally passed the 2019 budget presented to it by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in February this year.
The Assembly passed the budget on Monday evening nearly two months of heated debates and politicking.
Igbere TV reports that N21 billion was added to the original budget of N852.317 billion presented by the governor.
It will be recalled that Governor Ambode could not present the budget in December, 2018 and had to present it in February, 2019.
