Guinness Celebrates Made Of Black Heroes In Lagos; Port Harcourt Are You Ready??


It was a night of fun and high energy when Guinness hosted its #made of black heroes to an exciting party in Lagos on Saturday. Shout out to all the heroes who typify the made of black attitude; hardworking, resilient and extra ordinary people.
               
The celebration kicked off on Friday Sept. 25th when the Guinness team and the Made of Black Ambassadors, Olamide and Phyno took to the streets to pay surprise visits to our Made of Black Heroes. Family and friends came out en masse to witness the activity.

The event which held at Xovar Lounge had lots of celebrities in attendance; from the most fashionable sexy steel who treated guests and consumers to his hit tunes. SeyiLaw cracked the guests all night and Dotun and slim Dada boy, Ehiz ensured there were no dull moments

Consumers partied all night with Guinness and the Made of Black Heroes.

The highpoint of the event was when the Made of Black Heroes’ were ushered onto the podium for their award presentation. Yes, Guinness rewarded our heroes for being exceptional people and demonstrating the black attitude.

The Lagos heroes who were celebrated are Tayo Faniran, 1st runner up of BBA season 9, Tunde Adebanjo aka Euro, Temitope Okupe, Tony Chukwu, Caleb Oziegbe, Adonu Anthony Reuben, David King-Amin, Josephine Njokwu, Josephine Ukeme, DJ Toxic, Adekunle and Tina Nwosu. Their unique stories is a clear demonstration of the black attitude i.e. Adekunle, stands out as the guy who wakes up every morning to sweep the Anthony pedestrian bridge despite his disability and he has done this for the past 12 years while Josephine Ukeme, a policewoman has become very popular by her sheer passion and commitment to duty. Josephine tirelessly controls traffic at the St. Agnes Junction in Yaba and through her sheer dedication to duty; she has continually made life easier for road users.

Immediately after, Olamide and Phyno took the stage to thrill the audience with an amazing performance.

Guinness is excited to be celebrating these amazing people; real every day people doing ordinary things in extra ordinary ways.
