Sport: All-Spanish And All-Italian Ties In Europa League Last 16

The draw for the last 16 of the Uefa Europa League was conducted in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday with teams from nine different European nations realising their fate.

Defending champions Sevilla were pitted against La Liga rivals Villarreal while Italian sides Fiorentina and AS Roma battle it out.


Ajax were the only reigning league champion drawn from the hat, which included four other former

winners Inter Milan, Sevilla, Zenit St. Petersburg and Napoli.

English Premier League only surviving representative Everton will face Ukrainian outfit Dynamo Kiev. The Toffees will host the first leg on 12 March at Goodison Park and then travel to the conflict torn region the following week.
