Thibaut Courtois is currently enjoying the Belgium international’s third season on-loan at Atletico Madrid from Chelsea, helping the side to victory over Real Madrid at the weekend.

The win was the first time Atleti had beaten their city rivals in La Liga since 1999 and Courtois is so involved with life at the Vicente Calderon Stadium, that the goalkeeper does not want to talk about the Blues.

“It’s too early to talk about them as the season in recently starting,” the 21-year-old was quoted by FootyNews24.

“Maybe in March or something like that we can talk about that, but now it’s not the moment.”

Courtois signed for the Blues from Belgian side Genk in 2011 for a fee of £5m, but after impressing for Atleti in both La Liga and the Champions League, that value is likely to be as much as five times more.

The 21-year-old is being groomed as a long-term replacement for Petr Cech, but many think that with the stopper having enjoyed so much success with the Madrid club, returning to Stamford Bridge may be a problem.

Cech is still just 31-year-old and could feasibly continue to be the west London club’s No.1 for a number of years.

Courtois would not want to play second fiddle to the Czech Republic international and is considered to be one of the best ‘keepers in Europe himself.

Chelsea will certainly have a dilemna come the end of the 2013/14 season to determine where to go with their man between the sticks.
